CEO Corner: Margaret Crotty, Partnership with Children

New York Nonprofit's Jeff Stein sat down with Margaret Crotty, executive director of Partnership with Children, a nonprofit organization that serves 17,000 students in all 5 boroughs, providing critical counseling and intervention services. Partnership with Childrens' teams of experienced social workers work with students at the highest risk of academic failure and dropout and also work with their families, teachers, principals, and surrounding communities.

Margaret Crotty, has a long history in education and public health in the nonprofit and private sectors. Prior to joining Partnership with Children, Margaret launched and managed Save the Children International’s $2 billion initiative to reduce child mortality in the developing world. Previously, she was the President and CEO of AFS-USA, which has provided intercultural exchanges for over 300,000 high school students since 1947. She graduated with honors from Princeton University, holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and is pursuing an MPH at Columbia University.
