One-on-One: Paula Gavin, Chief Service Officer for NYC Service

New York Nonprofit Media's Jeff Stein sat down with Paula Gavin, New York City's Chief Service Officer, to talk about the city's efforts to increase volunteerism and liaise with the city's nonprofits to tackle the largest social issues facing New York. Gavin has years of experience in the nonprofit sector, serving as executive director of the Fund for Public Advocacy, president of the National Urban Fellows, and president and CEO of the YMCA of Greater New York. She is also an adjunct professor at NYU's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
